Feb Performers Ð Love Songs

Martin Hergt entertained us with the lovely melodies Sweet Gypsy Rose and La Vie en Rose.  Ron joined him for a lively duet of ThatÕs Amore!

Ron Sera then played a number of love songs: Dream, Dream, Dream; the Anniversary Waltz; and Amour.  He also took requests and performed Life in the Finland Woods; LaraÕs Theme from Doctor Zhivago and Beer Barrel Polka.

Reis Vink concluded the performance with Besame mucho, JanetÕs Waltz and Volare.  Reis also kindly gave us his background.  He received an accordion as a Christmas present at age 12; he had in fact wanted a basketball!  He took lessons with Bob Dressler for 3 years and also took lessons with Irv.  Reis has been performing and entertaining everyone with his beautiful accordion playing ever since!
